DoggCatcher in Sprint Hero Market - more

Update: I released a new version to the market and removed copy protection

I did this after successful testing of an upgrade from the copy protected version to the new non copy protected version on a 1.5 handset.

I also confirmed with mobilehavoc that DoggCatcher became visible in the Sprint Hero market. Today I stopped by a verizon store and confirmed that DoggCatcher is now in available on the Eris market.

This seems to be pretty good evidence that the copy protection was hiding apps from some phone's markets.

It has been about 24 hours since the removal of copy protection and I haven't heard of any upgrade issues thus far.

It turns out that copy-protection is affecting the ability for DoggCatcher to be seen in the Sprint Hero market, and possibly on other devices too including the Eris and Cliq.

Thanks to mobilehavoc for taking the time to do some testing last night. We were able to flip copy protection on/off for a test app and see this problem occurring.

I was planning to publish a new release to the market this weekend. If someone would be willing to spend about 30 minutes testing with me, I can try turning off the copy protection right after I release the update and we'll see if it works ok. It would need to be someone that has purchased the app through the market and can currently see it in the market. Ideally it would be someone on 1.5 which is the earliest android release which includes this fix.

We can do a backup of all your data prior to the test so we won't do any damage if it doesn't work.
